A seasoned professional, she possesses a BLIS (ABU, Zaria), MLIS (UI, Ibadan) and PhD (Babcock University Ilisan-Remo) in Library and Information Science, and is registered with the Librarians’ Registration Council of Nigeria (LRCN). She is also a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Administration (FCIA), attesting to her competence, discipline, and administrative acumen.

Dr. Asaolu is known for her forward-looking approach to library innovation, digital transformation, and knowledge management. She has successfully led initiatives that enhanced user experience, research visibility, and resource accessibility through technology integration. Her work in ergonomics and psychosocial wellbeing of library personnel is widely recognized in both national and international scholarly circles.
